Leave Me A Word!

We got Paige a tiny little i.d. bracelet for her First Communion. It has a little cross etched out of it on one side.

We are having her name engraved on the front (of course!), but we're trying to think of something to put on the back of it.

It has to be something short, because its not too big, so just one word or two small ones, lol.

I wanted to put "Dance!" on it...to remind her to always embrace life, but Wayne thinks everyone will just think it means "dance" like its her favourite hobby, as in soccer, baseball, etc. (I think the exclamation point will make all the difference!)

I thought of "Blessed" "Cherished" "Loved"

I can't decide!!

I know that not too many people will actually ever see it, lol, but I want it to be just the right word!

So, if you're reading this blog today, leave me a one word comment!

They cut me down
And I leapt up high;
I am the life
That'll never, never die;
I'll live in you
If you'll live in me -
I am the Lord
Of the Dance, said he.

Dance, then, wherever you may be,
I am the Lord of the Dance, said he,
And I'll lead you all, wherever you may be,
And I'll lead you all in the Dance, said he

I like Dance! I also like 'grace' - it has so many meanings.

Dance! Paige and everyone else who is important to her will know what it means.

Something I learned at my moms group:
F-fully
R-rely
O-on
G-God.

Shortly afterward I found cute little note cards with a single frog on them. I sent them out as thank-yous to my PSR students.

I don't know if you want to put "frog" on her bracelet, but it would be a little code for her to remember.

Dance and believe are both nice also!

I totally love Believe! I was almost swayed :)

But, the word "Dance" has such deep meaning with us...to remind Paige to always dance, to remind me to always dance, no matter who's watching, and I never thought about "Lord of the Dance", but that is Paige's school's "Song" as well!

So..."Dance!" it will be!

"Dance, dance, where ever you may be.
For I am the Lord of the dance said He.
And I'll meet you all, where ever you may be, I'll meet you all at the dance said He"

That is from a favorite hymn we sang a lot at high school.

Good pick,

Kelly
